PhotoAgainst Photo Editor's Comment: In our official sharpness test we shoot chart that consists of 1 and 5 American Dolars. We take 3 crops from the very top left corner, center and between center and top left corner.

We shoot with every aperture from lens' widest aperture to F13. For zoom lenses we do the test for their both wide and tele focal lengths.

Unlike our other comparisons, these sharpness shots are taken in different times and lighting conditions might be different. So please consider only lenses' sharpness in these tests (we recommend analyzing black and white crops we provide) as contrast and color cast might not be very accurate in these comparisons. After reviewing the test, scroll to the bottom of the page to compare Tamron 18-200's Sharpness with other lenses.
